The Tethrd Ropeman 4 Ascender is a compact, lightweight rope clamp designed for reliable performance in saddle hunting and other vertical applications. Built for 8–13mm ropes, the Ropeman 4 provides smooth, efficient operation for ascending, positioning, self-belay, and other technical applications.
Constructed from a lightweight, high-strength aluminum alloy, the Ropeman 4 delivers dependable performance without adding unnecessary weight to your saddle setup. Its improved grooved side-plate closure mechanism helps prevent lateral opening during rope ascents while reducing the chance of rope becoming trapped between the side plate and cam.
The spring-loaded side plate allows for quick and easy rope loading, while the high-strength stainless steel axle and 2kN-tested stainless steel wire provide lasting durability. The Ropeman 4 is compatible with Tethrd carabiners, as well as HMS and oval carabiners, and can also be used with compatible flat and tubular webbing slings.
